Lake George is a small town in Lincoln Township in Clare County, Michigan between Lake George and Shingle Lake. The area is filled with history and character and serves as a getaway and a second home to many weekenders and locals alike. The town is forever linked to the once sprawling lumber industry which flourished with with the help of the railroad system that goes right through the heart of the small town. The Depot, Grocery store, Swiss Inn as well as a few other places close by are the main places to gather with friends or gather groceries. We strive to be local here in our small town!
